Quarter II Reflection

    In the second quarter of the school year 2022-2023, I learned about many different things. Some of the things that are learned about include the different subjects that are studied in school. Especially, "Informational Communication Technology." Coding is one of the most unforgettable in this subject. Coding, also known as computer programming, is how we communicate with computers and tell them what to do. Through coding, professionals can build programs, including websites and apps.     And one of the biggest challenges this quarter was balancing academics with extracurricular activities. I quickly realized that if I managed my time well, I could keep up with my responsibilities. I started using a checklist, which helped me to stay on track and avoid feeling overwhelmed.   Moving on, I had the same delight, laughter, stress, and enjoyment in the second quarter as I did in the first. Viva Vigan!

The Longganisa Festival of Vigan City, is week-long celebration and on January 22 was filled with fun and smiles. A sea of humanity patiently waited in the side roads to have a glimpsed on Longganisa streetdancing, in an extremely hot sunny afternoon. Street dancers are dressed in a colorful, mostly of silky clothed and some wears abel (traditional woven product of Ilocos). The street dancers showcase their creativeness and gracefulness with their alluring smiles in their faces that match with their dances along the streets of Vigan.  Actually, the colorful streetdancing and parade was the second part of the day’s event. In the morning, the Longanisa Cook Fest Showdown was held. The street is burning with the smell of my all time favorite sausage made only in the Philippines and Vigan City made it so scrumptious…yummy. The theme of the celebration is all about longganisa.
